大和號每座18.1"砲塔重量超過2200公噸, 當她翻船沉沒時砲塔先脫離底座掉出船體.

Remember that the space battleship Yamato also has the "wave motion cannon"(波動砲), which means that the entire bow section will have to be hollowed out in order for the weapon system to be properly installed, but such action WILL severely compromises its structural integrity during space flight.
So you might as well build an entirely new ship (or rather spaceship) rather than retrofitting an old WWII surface ship.
