美帝的航母的航速都能達到30節以上。但小弟忽然發現兩棲攻擊艦的速度貌似都一般。 18-22節好像很普遍。難道兩棲攻擊艦的速度要求不高還是因為傳統動力的原因？

跟动力无关，跟需求有关，为了让舰载机顶风起降，并利用甲板风，航母天生就对回转半径和极限速度有很高的要求。美国第一艘专门设计的航母CV-2 Lexington 号，就可以用蒸汽机跑出33节的高速。
所以身材庞大的航母反倒是现代海军主力舰的机动性标杆，需要参加航母作战群的巡洋舰、驱逐舰都必须能跑到30节以上。而没有这种需求的军舰，往往会降低长宽比，不要求30节以上航速。比如lafayette级，只有25节就够了。
两栖攻击舰跟在航母作战群里狂奔没多少意义，20多节足够了。 |

現在兩棲攻擊艦設計時,還是一堆俗稱"開口笑"的登陸艦存在時,那些登陸艦為了艦首開大門讓戰車之類東西上下,艦首下水線太胖,裝東西後速度通常到不了20kts,那一起作戰的其他船何必高速?
而且,就算沒有開口笑的速度限制,船隻的波阻與速度三次方成正比,速度要上去則動力系統就要大型化,看那些高速船中間巨大的動力區間,多浪費運載量啊!速度低十節,動力系統就不用上下貫穿船身,只要貼在底部船艙拉幾根小通氣管出來就好,運輸艙間就可以前後貫穿船身. |

Only those amphibious assault ships built after 1950s/60s has the speed of 18-22 knots. Before that 6-11 knots were the standard during WW2. As for 18-22 knots speed, that's known as fleet speed, ie. the speed needed to keep task force formation that includes AO/AOE/AK ships that ships considered as part of the ocean going fleet has to have that speed to keep up the at sea resupply efforts to keep the task force going. Carriers got 30+ knots is because they need it to launch aircraft, but also need the speed for quick redeployment to other part of the world. Cruisers and Destroyers needs 30+ knots speed in order to keep up with the carrier while within the carrier strike task force/group. Frigates usually only used as escort of convoys and amphibious ships, or as act as ASW platform, neither tasks would need 30+ knots speed.
Carrier speed wise, the only exception now is Frog's CdG. Even thought it's a nuke ship, it can't go faster than 30 knots.... Last I heard, only able to do 25 or 26 knots. No wonder no one wants Rafale..... |
