剛剛看了一下網路的資料，看不出來M109各型三種155mm的火炮，彈藥是不是完全不能通用？當然，如果這三種炮是不同設計，那麼另當別論。不過，同樣的火炮設計，只是將炮管的長度增加，彈藥應該還是可以通用的吧？波福斯的40快炮算不算一個例子？ |

M109A6手冊上列舉出很多彈藥跟舊款彈藥不適用 , 您指哪一種呢?
這還包含到引信的匹配等等
這是A6系列上的警語
• Unauthorized assembly and use of projectiles
and propelling charges are extremely dangerous.
Make sure projectiles are marked 155 H (not G).
• Only those items listed are authorized. Firing of
unauthorized propelling charge, projectile, or fuze
combinations can result in critical malfunctions.
• Charge 1 (M3 series green bag), charge 2 (green
bag) will not be fired in the M284 cannon.
Charge 2 (green bag charge (GB)) may be used
with any M100 series projectile, M449 series
projectile, M804/M804A1 projectile, and the
M485 projectile, however, stickers may
occasionally occur. All other projectiles, except
the M795, use minimum charge 3 (GB) or charge
3 (white bag charge (WB)) and higher. M795
uses minimum charge 3 (GB) or charge 4 (WB).
Firing below these charges may result in stickers.

coding and the meaning of the markings will aid in the rapid selection of the required projectile when firing.
Projectile and fuze combinations for authorized rounds are given in Table 5-1, 155MM Ammunition for M109
Howitzers. Authorized projectile propelling charge combinations are given in Table 5-2, Authorized
Projectile/Propelling Charge Combinations for M109A2/M109A3/M109A4 M185 and M109A5 M284 Cannon

M109A6手冊上也有詳細描述北約各國適用彈種與裝藥/引信匹配
而這些A2-A5以及A6系列上的彈藥互用有將近5百多頁的詳細資料(不包含北約各國彈藥的頁數) ; 最近小弟工作忙 , 實在難以相互比對整理
最簡單的方式是A2到A5構型...彈藥裝藥引信匹配都通用
A6構型的 , 彈藥裝藥引信匹配不一定等同於A2-A5的

performances can be attained:

Charge 3 (M3A1 green bag) - MV 275.8 m/s - range 6,500 m

Charge 5 (M3A1 green bag) - MV 374.9 m/s - range 9,800 m
Charge 3 (M4A2 white bag) - MV 269.7 m/s - range 6,200 m

記得有改成彈膛23公升的北約增程彈容量??所以應該砲彈往前推進到卡住的深度不同??

好像不對,A5開始換裝的L39 M284才能用M203／M203A1装薬(八號裝藥)的樣子,A5之前的L33只能用到七號裝藥. |

北約規格設計所用的炮彈跟藥包都是共通的.
對彈藥分裝的火炮來說,只有藥包不同.
A2跟A5雖然使用火炮不同,但是老美應該大多都有過性能提升. |

應該是新砲可以用舊彈藥,但舊砲(倍徑短的,耐膛壓低的)不能用專為長倍徑新砲開發的高膛壓彈藥.至少M109A1/A2用的舊藥包M109A5/A6都能用.
不過最早那個L23短砲管怎樣我就不清楚了... |
