最近在K島提到M7，所以又無厘頭的網路搜尋了一下，沒想到會找到這個。
Joe's Role
Joe's job in Luzon was to be a radio operator on board in an M-7 tank. Joe was always good with mechanics. Therefore, he was given the job to man the M-7's communication system. Joe had to command fire on the Japanese resistors. Looking back, Joe remembered being confused by all the places that his regiment attacked. He stated it was "one big jungle, I did not know where the hell I was."
Arrival in Japan
Joe arrived in the port city of Nagoya, Japan. When Joe first entered the city he related that it "was a powerful thing to behold because as they came off the ships in the M-7s; the American soldiers sat on top of the tanks, like conquerors, rolling down the broad streets into Nagoya. Lots of people lined the streets, it was very quiet, and you could see miles because the airplane bombing had leveled the city long before they were there." When Joe arrived in Japan, the Japanese had already surrendered. As a result of Japan's defeat, the industry was at a standstill, and the cities were ruined.

剛看了一下
不是那個牧師自走砲
文中的M7，是在1942與M4競爭生產的對手
但是M4看來好用些，所以M7只生產7輛，更有可能都分在同一單位中
至於服役記錄，大概就是那位老兄所說的而已了

我也有這樣想過啦，但如果是自走砲，應該會被部署在後方而不是上前線掃蕩殘餘日軍和指引火力支援才對。
而且登陸日本那段有提到：the American soldiers sat on top of the tanks...牧師那種造型不太可能出現這種形容。
