小弟有一奇想
倘若目前如皇家方舟號、老鷹號之類的中型航母仍未退役
請較諸位大大
是超級蟲抑或飆風何者適合作為艦載機?

the problem for Superhornet and F-35 is its size (as big as a F-15E). Spanish and Aussie's 27000ton SPS will only ably to operate a few F-35 and not enough fuel and ammo storage for the jet......

Even the French CVN probably can only operate 1X F-35s.....So even Ark Royal or Foch class still available, don't expect too much

現在比較有空來認真回答.
基本上,早期的彈射器與現在的不同,強調的是能把飛機彈出,而且對結構影響小,因此要綁一堆鋼索才丟出去,起飛前整備很花時間也危險,不像現在美國的彈射器講效率,對飛機結構損耗較大.但兩種設計不怎相容,彼此之間轉換有點費工,不過應該要丟F/A-18E/F或Rafale都不成問題.
但還有其他問題,Eagle這種改裝比較少的,不管甲板還是起重機強度都比較低,甚至機庫高度可能也有問題,不一定塞得下現代的艦載機;Ark Royal當初有改過,機庫應該放得下,但能放幾架?而且這種二戰老船,不要看排水量大,人家設計是有裝甲的,與現代航艦比起來,同噸位的體積會比較小......
Rafale曾經在法國那兩艘老航艦測試過,但測試時的總載重有限制,記得是18500kg,以現在Rafale M的重量,空機裝滿內油箱就差不多15噸了,實際上有些東西不能測,所以還是找美國佬幫忙測的.只能承受這種重量,還能希望上怎樣的飛機?

The performance (restrictions of carrier operation on bad weathers) and design (of air craft) has been compromised a lot to operate Phantom and Buccaneer: The the mount of the radar of Buccaneer need to be folded to be able to fit into the evaluator, and both air craft need an extra long front landing gear so that the aircraft has a high angle of attack during launch, otherwise the air craft will not be able to take-off from the short capsule-way.....
And none of those features can be available for Rafael or Super Hornet because of their fundamental designs....

Some RN pilots says even if Ark Royal is available during Falkland war, those Phantom, Buccaneer and AEW plane probably cannot operate from that deck because of the bad weather..... so in someways, size does matters for career operations

彈射器是一個問題，其他的問題還有：
甲板的強度承受問題。機庫甲板的高度。升降機的寬度和載重能力。這些都會限制航艦是不是能夠操作一架飛機的能力。 |
